It did not have the eggs (marbles) and they did not know if it worked. Well, mine has the 8 eggs (marbles). You insert them under the comb. Push her down and when she rises an egg comes out. It does this every time. I’ll sell mine for the same price and it works fine. • This Wyandotte Egg Laying Hen Tin Toy is RARE to find with the removable Red Comb Piece Top. It has come to my attention, that quite a few of these chickens, do not have the red comb. This one does and in the pictures you can see it is removable for loading the eggs. • Approximately 7 inches tall x 8 inches long x 3 1/4 inches wide. • Very Good Condition for its age. Please see photos for imperfections and wear. • Does Not Include any marble eggs, and therefore could not be tested and may not work. I ship as soon as I have received payment.
