Description: So here’s the story with this one. This was an estate sale find several years ago from an old veteran. The lady running the sale didn’t know where he served but there were gloves and a couple other things that were wwii. I’ve only seen the bvd tag with “made for best retail trade” on an early double v crewneck, probably 20s - 30s. The tag was larger, but similar. So I date this at 30s - 40s but you may be more familiar with these than I am. The fact that it’s blue is obscure, may suggest it’s a home made novelty rather than made by someone enlisted. Not positive of the fabric used for the patches but it’s not cotton, some sort of polyester I think. That’s all the information I have. I believe it to be a wwii souvenir. It’s an extremely cool piece that I’ve held on to for some time. Only listing because I’ve seen prices doing crazy things lately and I would be willing to part with it for the right offer.
