Description: Vintage WW2 Era Japan Silk Kimono Pajama Set Coat Jacket Pants & Slippers. The pants measure about 36" long and have an elastic stretch type waist. No labels but I would estimate the size as small. The jacket has some beautiful embroidered flowers. Base color is a red/ pink. I acquired this set many years ago and at that time I was told it was brought back from Japan after World War II by a returning soldier or sailor. I am certain it has plenty of genuine age. Interesting to note: I had to clean off a bunch of small spider nests (cleaned off instantly with a damp sponge) which may indicate the material is genuine caterpillar silk.
