Description: Vintage Woolsey Marine Metal Paint Can Empty 1 qt Cawlux Nauticolor No. 769 Biloxi Beige (#1) This listing is for a vintage Woolsey Marine metal can, that once contained Biloxi Beige Cawlux Nauticolor paint number 769. There had been some original paint in the can, which Mrs. Edna discarded before listing this item in her store because it was no longer usable. The condition inside the can is amazing, it is exceptionally clean, with little to no signs of deterioration to the metal. It still has the smell of paint when you pop off the top. The Woolsey label, with a mermaid holding a ship's wheel, is securely attached to the outside. Four clips originally kept the lid on and the can sealed. They are no longer attached to the can. Information on the label reads in part: Woolsey CawluxNauticolorQuick-Drying Marine Finish 769 Biloxi Beige 1 QT. Made in U.S.A. Woolsey Marine division of Metropolitan Greetings, Inc. This item is in very good or better pre-owned vintage condition. There are signs of wear from age, use and storage, which includes but is not limited to rust and discoloration to the metal can and paper label.
