Description: I purchased the WW2 footlocker at an estate sale. I did not realize there were clothes in it until a few months later. I assume the shirts and socks belong to the owner of the case. The shirts all appear to be in good condition. The material has not degraded and the shirt stamps are still visible. The ink has faded on 3 of the 4 shirts. I looked over the shirts and did not see any stains or holes. But they are very wrinkled so it is possible I overlooked a light stain. The socks are old, with holes, elastic is shot and it feels like the material is degrading. The drawstring bag is pretty clean but it does have a few holes. I did not see any army labels on either the socks or bag. The box- The box still has a piece of the railway sticker stuck to the front. It says Osborn, Ohio which was home to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The inside of the lid is stamped by the box company, Farley and Loetscher MGG. CO, C.Q.D. NO. 61-B 1943. The box has a lot of wear. The latch pieces have broken off, damaging the wood. There are several spots where the wood is broken. The inside tray and the rest of interior are still in acceptable condition. Please look through all of the images with zoom to see actual condition. There are images of all sides of the box including the bottom. Box Dimensions are 34"L x 16.5"W x 13"D There are both shipping and local pick up options.
