Description: This gown was worn in a 1958 Redwood City California wedding, and is in the classic 'New Look' style with very full skirting, wide waist band under a fitted bodice, plenty of tulle for fullness. The functional covered buttons on the long fitted sleeves are all there, and there is a metal zipper down the back. Ivory white taffeta for a crisp feel! Measures 38 bust and 28 waist with a length of 48 inches, the inside tag says size '16' which is a 1950s '16', considerably smaller than a 2024 '16'!I cannot accept returns on vintage garments so please check the measurements and ask any additional questions prior to purchase, thanks very much!
