However, there are blue marks near the printing on the top rear of the item. This appears, under my 10X glass, to be under the glaze. There apparently was an over-run of some sort. The mark closest to the tail seems to be black paint, also under the glaze. These are not major flaws, but they are all that I can see on the item. I see no scrapes, scratches, or chips, and there is no crazing that I can see, even in direct sunlight. Between the late 1980s and the mid 1990s, my mother-in-law traveled with her sister and brother-in-law, in an R.V., from Alaska to Key West and from Southern California to Maine. She brought me piggy banks. This is one of them. Please look closely at the photos. Payment through eBay is required.
