Description: Vintage Variant 1950's Daisy Model No. 25 Pump BB Gun. Manufactured in Plymouth Michigan USA. Produced between 1955 and 1958. Information is straight from the Daisy museum. (1) Plastic stocks came to be in 1952 until 1978 (Note production of M-25 was suspended in 1978, they released it again as a 100yr centennial for 1-year in 1986, in reappeared in 2009 but made in China) 2) Those two vacant holes on the right side of the receiver are for a scope/mount that daisy offered at one time, they were not added until the fall of 1955, also there was a small "Oil Here" hole that was added to the top of the barrel at the same time. (This marked a change from leather internal seals to synthetic rubber) (3) earlier receivers had an engraved (itched) designed onto the receiver sides until early 1957, if a design pattern exist on the receiver that is paint (silk screening) its made late 1957 or later. (the silk screening was very impressive in appearance, but it did not wear well at all in use) (4) Daisy manufacturing relocated from Plymouth Mich. To Rogers Ark. in 1958.
