Description: Vintage WW2 U.S. M1 helmet liner w/nape strap, sweat band. All original, period and in excellent condition. The nape strap and and sweat band were not in this liner. These were installed from period new old stock. There is no leather chin strap--originals which are NOS can range from $150-$200. That will be on the buyer to decide your options. The webbing looks mint and the helmet may not have been issued. It has it's original paint and there doesn't seem to be much wear other than storage wear. There is a slight crack in shell due to age but it is still solid and not separated. The liner is a high pressure type embossed with the Westinghouse Logo.Overall, a very unique item that will make a great addition to any collection.
