Description: This is a great piece of military and horological history. This dates to 1942 and it was made by Elgin National Watch Company in Elgin , Illinois. The watch is a 16s, has 15 jewels, and is cased in a solid nickel open face case. This winds and runs well. It resets crisply as it should. This has not been polished or restored so there is some wear and patina. Please see my other listings...I am always listing rare watches and chronographs.
