Description: This Vintage Turpo Electric Vaporizer was made by Glessner Company of Findlay, Ohio. The vaporizer was made from about 1910 till the 1930's. This glass vaporizer has a fill mark on one side and the other side says "Turpo Electric Vaporizer, Pat. Applied For, and Made in USA." According to what I found out about it on the internet, you fill the jar with water to the fill line and add Turpo Vaporizing Ointment which was a turpentine product. It was billed as a personal vaporizer for colds. The jar and lid mechanism is in excellent shape. The lid has a small amount of surface corrosion. The cord is cloth wrapped
