Description: Vintage 26" Old School MTB 1 1/8" Threaded Mountain Bike Fork ( Your Option Choice from the Menu ) This auction is for your choice of NOS or Used Vintage 26" wheel threaded 1 1/8" Old School MTB Fork or a New 1 1/8" threaded headset from the menu. Add items to your cart and check out through your cart for Shipping Discount. The Fork can be used on Early Klunker Mountain Bikes with 26" Wheels and Tires that Used 1 1/8" threaded forks. Forks have short threaded 1 1/8" fork tubes for short head tubes, Since the fork tube got bigger 1 1/8" and it got stronger, thats why theres a lot of short head tubes on Old School MTB bikes of the era. New Old Stock "NOS" are unused but show wear,have paint & decal loss, and have scratches & nicks from shelf life and age. Used: Shows Wear, has paint, fading, & decal loss, and has scratches & nicks, and possible rust. The NOS Kona Project 2 Rigid Forks have dates of manufacture on them, they are un used but show show wear. I was asked the weight of the Kona Project 2 forks to determine if it was triple butted, The Black one is around 900 Grams and I suspect it's the earliest fork and not the latest, The rest of the Project 2 Forks are all around 730 grams. The Used Marin Fork Comes with a matching Stem and the Orange paint has Fading. The used Robins egg Blue fork is Tange Steel, I suspect it may be Nishiki. The Used Suspension fork is Cycle Pieces an has rebound, seems still working. Your selection will give over all fork tube Length "L" and Thread length "T".auction. You should be able to figure out if it will work for you, so do your Homework & Measure. Forks have Studs for Cantilever Brakes. The New Headset is an Add on Convenience to get a Compatible headset with your fork purchase. The threaded 1 1/8" Bike Headset has a 34mm diameter cups to fit vintage MTB with a 34mm Inner Diameter "ID" head tube. Headset Crown race has a 30mm id.
