Description: With a blend of Hollywood Regency style and Mid-Century Modern aesthetic, this Syracuse Ornamental Co. Inc (SYROCO) wall hanging is sure to delight music lovers looking for that extra decor touch! This style, popular in the 1960s and 1970s, is authentically RETRO VINTAGE. The plaque is fashioned out of molded SYROCO material, likely from the period where they transitioned from wood pulp with polymers to plastic. The frame of the diamond shape piece is an ivory color, with gold colored central assemblage of instruments and gold accents around the frame. SYROCO products were hand-painted. Therefore, the back of the piece has two gold tone paint marks and faint gold overspray. There are no chips or cracks and the paint is in good shape, with a smudge on the tambourine skin.
