The artwork has been done on a "Cadet Artist Illustration Board" heavy cardstock poster board, hand painted with colorful illustrations. This magical children's artwork painting has a fairy godmother at the top an ice cream cone candy cane tree and a mirror image of two little girls with blonde curls wearing matching pink dresses. Underneath is written "Panel For Child's Reading Room" signed by the artist Sylvia Baird who was an illustrator for the San Jose Mercury News for over two decades and a freelance artist in California. The artwork measures 20 by 15 inches. It is in good condition, with only some faint yellowing discoloration along the white board edging and slight worn bent corners. This is truly a rare and beautiful one of a kind piece of original hand painted illustrated art!
