Description: Vintage doilies from Switzerland - set of 2 Condition: New; the product labels that are still attached to the doilies read "FISBA STOFFELS HANDROLLED" and "Swiss Made" (see photos) These are new and still folded and (presumably) came from the store or company in the (unsealed) envelope shown, which is imprinted with "alba" (a textile company located in the Swiss Canton of Appenzell). I had to take them out and unfold them in order to photograph them Size: 12" x 12" (30 x 30 cm) We used to live in Switzerland in the 1960's, and I found these in a storage bench of my parents where they've been stored for over 50+ years since they moved to the USA. Either my father or my mother would have purchased these back in the 1960's. NOTE: I suppose that one would need to carefully iron these since they are as originally folded in order to remove the folds. Also: As the original self-adhesive product stickers are still on the doilies, they would have to be carefully removed (I have not tried to peel the stickers off, and there may or may not be self-adhesive still left on them when you remove them, and that may or may not require treatment, although what that would be, I don't know, as I am not a textile expert). As such, I am selling these "as is" (see photos). They are as purchased and have no defects that I can tell. These need to go to someone that can use them (rather than sit another 50+ years in storage...). Shipping via tracked & insured mail only within the USA.
