Not harsh or thin.Comes with back tremolo cover, but no screws.The neck heel is about a millimeter narrower than the neck pocket, but it's barely noticeable.As you can see in the picture, there are 2 pickguard screw holes I had to plug because I accidentally over drilled them. Not very noticeable either.Other than that, it's in extremely good condition. Almost new.
