With a great design in relief on one sides - a brewer with tankard in hand in the centre with the words TRADITIONAL CELEBRATED REAL ALE - MALT HOPS a& SPRING WATER. Light brown glaze below, darker brown glaze above and inside. With a gently tapering shape and and a comfortable thumb-piece handle to hold with two or three fingers. Stonebridge Pottery were famous for their stoneware pottery particularly their mugs. Holds one pint very comfortably, deserves to be used again - for a good beer! Or displays well. Nice piece.
