Description: For sale is a very original pair of sterling silver cufflinks by Mexican silversmith Antonio Pineda. They are marked in a manner that seems odd but that was not uncommon to the work of Pineda: the back of one link shows Antonio’s crown, the eagle 3 and Mexico. The other link is stamped with 970 (for silver purity) and “sterling Hilda Taxco 925” in a circle. They sport several marks: the Antonio crown, the eagle 3, Mexico, 970 (for silver purity), Hilda, etc. In excellent vintage condition.
