Description: Item Description From my father-in-law's TV repair shop, comes this vintage authentic Eveready battery store counter display unit made from steel. This piece rotates, turns a full 360 degrees, and has a battery tester on top (see paragraphs below regarding no guarantee). There are also covers made of plastic that flip up and down to act as a display case. Please note that these have yellowed with age. The entire unit measures approximately 20" tall x 12" deep x 14.5" wide and weighs approximately 22 lbs by itself. In cleaning the item and removing battery acid which had previously spilled and been ignored for years, some of the original paint also came off (see photos). That may be okay with you or you may want to match the paint and restore the item (all up to you and your work effort; we are selling the item "as is", which includes the battery tester on top. Although it appears to be working for us, I am not guaranteeing that the tester will work for all NINE different types of batteries that it claims to test. We tested it on an AA battery only. The unit itself is square and stands straight; it is only my photos that are a bit crooked. There is a small handling charge added to purchase to assist with ensuring secure packing to ship.
