Vintage Star Glove (Cal-Leather) CHP Leather Jacket Double Rider 40

Description: Up for sale is an incredible, vintage double rider leather jacket. Though unlabeled, judging by the jacket’s details and leather, it was very likely made by Star Glove (the predecessor to Cal-Leather from Ventura, CA) in the 1940s-1950s. The grain on this jacket is stunning - a signature of many Star jackets. The jacket has no odors, no seam tears, and no tears to leather. There are some very minor abrasions to the jacket’s inner lining. Note that the main zip’s pull tab is attached currently using a bent paperclip - still perfectly functional. Sleeve zips are functional without issues. This jacket’s leather appears to be a very substantial cowhide or horsehide. This jacket fits like a 40 regular and is very comfortable.
