Description: Partial work has been done on this gorgeous violin -glued center seams, cleating to strengthen inside top, back seams glued (but will need cleating), seams linings on inside all glued (may want to add 2 upper corner blocks). Fit a new bassbar. New pegs fitted; I'm sure you'll want to pick special pegs anyway. Edges of top have been strengthened, reinforced - slight bit more needed, as well as on back seam edges. Please don't remove any wood; older violins sound perfect when they have aged wonderfully as this instrument has. Exquisite wood in top, back, and ribs covered with extremely lovely varnish. There wasn't any label in violin, but it has Stainer stamp, model, arching ... scroll are Stainer. I know this violin will have the wonderful rich tone, full and projecting with a well fitted bass bar.
