VINTAGE ST. MARYS EMPIRE ALL PURE WOOL BLANKET DUSK ROSE 72X90 TAG INTACT W/BOX

Description: Up for your consideration is a VINTAGE late 1940's St. Marys Empire 72x90 BLANKET. It appears to be in excellent condition in the original box. Made of All Wool as seen on tag that is attached to blanket. Color is Dusk Rose as shown on the box end. Made In U.S.A. It includes the original box as seen in photos. I don't believe it was ever removed from the box. Box shows soiling and minor wear from being moved around with other boxes on top. Box has an old attic smell but blanket appears excellent as seen in photos. My late mother had the box wrapped in old brown paper with string around it. It's been in dry storage in a dry attic for 70 years. I believe this was given to my mom as a shower gift or to both as a wedding gift, and they were married in 1949. My mother's name is on box lid. Parents are deceased and we are cleaning out the attic where it was found.
