Removed by our service dept decades ago during a routine upgrade and has been in protected storage since. These drives had relatively little use — we had an aggressive upgrade program so most drives were upgraded after only 12 to 24 months. The removed drives have been stored undisturbed for decades. Drive has been fully wiped (to delete customer data) and reformatted. Drive is quiet, no unusual noises. MS-DOS 6.22 freshly installed. Windows For Workgroups 3.11 freshly installed. WFW 3.11 is the final release of Win 3.x, also supports networking. Boots directly to DOS, To start Windows, type WIN. If you don't want WFW and would like to free up the 14MB space it occupies, simply delete the \WINDOWS directory. 406mb free with WFW installed. Of course, you can install W9x or any other O/S you prefer. Scandisk full surface scan shows zero errors (see screenshot). Chkdsk shows zero bad sectors (see screenshot). Should boot right up in any compatible system. Clean, excellent cosmetic condition. You will receive exactly the item you see in the photos.
