Description: Made in Mexico and predating 1979 as there is no bar code on the box, this is a new old stock set of Squirt Salt and Pepper Shakers. No wear and appear never to have been used. Box has only the slightest of wear. Squirt was developed in 1938 to compete directly with the Coca Cola product, Fresca. The cartoon character 'Lil Squirt' was the marketing symbol of Squirt from the 1930's through the 1980's. A really neat vintage item for your collection.
