Description: Vintage Sparton Model 5A7 tube tabletop AM radio that has a great retro look and is very clean, but unfortunately I do not believe the knobs are original, but they present well. The bakelite body is in very good condition, with no chips or cracks. The radio is functioning - but there is a significant amount of background hum and I had to place my fingers on the loop antenna to get reception. As such, it will need to be recapped to get it working well. The station dial and on/off knob turn smoothly and properly, but the numbers on the dial indicator are showing some wear. The power cord is in good condition. In order to ensure safe delivery the radio will be double boxed. Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
