Description: Obtained in Moscow by previous owner in 1971, all I can say for sure is this vintage piece is at least that old. Very cool item, or is one of five I obtained, all differently themed. When the wood knob on the end is depressed, the bear replicates pumping water. Handmade piece, so wood has carve marks and such by design. Works as intended, but every now and then the pump handle skips from the bear's gap and has to be placed back in. This appears normal, as the curved handle is designed to simply test on a metal peg between the bear's paws. Works and displays very well. Please see pics for further description and condition.
