Description: Exquisite, detailed silver Anubis pendant or charm. It's about 1 inch long. Sold to me as sterling, but there are no marks on it. It's definitely silver, just don't know content. All the detailing is very clear. Reverse side is blank. No indication of origin, but may be a souvenir from Egypt. Anubis is the jackal-headed Egyptian god connected to funerary rites and the underworld. Here Anubis is carrying his was-sceptre, a symbol of power. Very striking pendant to wear!
