Description: Pretty scarf in a wonderful color for certain skin tones. Kind of a beige taupe peach. ( see my photos with crayons and other solid chiffon scarves i am listing for comparison . Hem is selvedge on 2 sides machine sewn on 2. Probably polyester chiffon in excellent condition. Don’t knock polyester, because the early polyester was very nice quality and had the advantage of being machine washable. Of all the scarves I am selling and there are a lot, this is the silkiest feeling one. The only other one that comes close to the silky feel is marked polyester, the tag is missing. It really stays squared up like polyester too. Which means easy care, even machine wash, but I hand wash all of these even if they’re machine washable so they will not snag. Really a stunning scarf. Measures approximately 31” sq. My mother-in-law like to shop at higher end stores and it’s good quality. This was not some thing she found in a thrift store . Was from my Mother-in-law‘s dresser. She’s from the “Mad Men” era, and a businessmans wife…. Cocktail parties, lots of dress up. She’s 95 now. Her hair was nearly black when young and her skin the olive that Sicilians have. So peach, beige, yellow, these colors looked great on her. So we have about 20 scarves ( at listing time) in those colors. Please check them out.
