Description: Silk Red Sun banner/flag, possibly WWII. It was not used as a flag - two of the edges are unfinished and have frayed a bit. Japanese soldiers carried these for prayer and for good luck, so it could have been folded and carried. It measures roughly 35-1/2" x 28-3/4". It has some minor discolorations mostly at the edges, has been folded for some time and is creased. It is quite sheer. Please see scans.
