The plate is decorated with Chrysanthemums, other flowers and birds with a red & blue X pattern band and blue trim. The bottom has a gold tag with the initials WHW or UHU (? Does anyone know??) Japan and underneath that, Japanese writing as shown. If anyone knows what the writing says, I would be very grateful if you could let me know! The plate measures approx. 14" x 2" H.
