Description: Tandy Radio Shack 3-transistor Regenerative Short Wave radio kit Unassembled shortwave radio kit. This was one of the most popular P-Box kits. Finding this kit in unbuilt condition, is a rarity these days! This kit is 100% complete, except for the instructions. We are including a clear photocopy of the original manual, that we acquired with the kit. All the other paperwork is original.The top plastic tab is still firmly attached, these are often loose or missing. The seals on the red half are present, but not on the clear half. The clear half has some minor hazing and blemishes, which is normal for these kits. The red base is in excellent condition. The kit includes the original cardboard inner box, with the correct item part number.The color insert was cut, and is missing the folded over halves (ends). We have included these missing sections from another original insert. You can tape them together if you wish. See photos for more details. The insert has some fading on the top, but the rest of the color graphics are still vivid and bright.Many parts are still in their original stapled bags. The other parts that originally came loose in the box, were placed in small resealable plastic bags. The kit has 2SB186 germanium transistors, which were a common substitute for the 2SB54.The kit operates on one 9-volt battery, not included.
