Description: Nostalgic vintage 1950s Samsonite train case / small overnight suitcase made by Shwayder Brothers, Inc. in Denver, CO. Shwayder Brothers became Samsonite Corporation in the 1960s. Case is marbled beige in color and measures approximately 15" long x 10" high x 7" deep. Exterior of the suitcase is in very nice condition with very few signs of wear. Brass latches work well. Unfortunately, the key to the lock is long missing. The interior is a saddle brown satin with a center divider; elasticized dividers and organizers on either side. Interior has expected wear for vintage age - stretchy elastic, some small staining. All manufacturers tags/labels in place and good condition. Bag makes an excellent display piece, unique storage piece or retro photo prop. Great vintage item from personal family estate collection.
