Vintage Saladmaster Jet-O-Matic Model 10 Coffee Percolator TESTED & Working Well

Vintage Saladmaster Jet-O-Matic Coffee Percolator Electric cord in good shape; coffee pot has some bumps and bruises (see photos) from literally decades of storage and a little bit of use. But...it's 100% Fully Functional and brewed a fine cuppa joe. ;-) Inside the pot there are markings for 6, 8, and 10 cups of water. The lid is a press-down-and-twist style, and it does indeed stay in place as it should, so that's good. The basket looks fantastic; the pot shows some coffee staining on the inside, but overall doesn't appear to have been used as a daily brewer like some of them were. Other folks have this listed as a 1950's item...but it's actually from 1979 onward. Can't say how many years they may have continued making them, but there's a patent number on the base and that patent was issued in the US in 1979 as a means of decreasing scale build-up inside the pot. So...definitely from '79 and up. Which honestly I think is better since that means the cord is probably made a little better/safer than a cord from the 50's (just my opinion, I'm not an electrician).
