It is contemporary icon created according to the ancient Russian Orthodox Church traditions. Blessed Virgin Mary is in the center of the icon. She is surrounded by 7 prophets. The Virgin stands on a cloud with a staircase downward. There maybe read five virtues and two states: faith, hope, love, chastity, humility, grace and glory. The icon is blessed by Russian Orthodox church and has a logo of Sofrino Monastery on the back of the icon. The base of the icon is made out of cardboard and reinforced by lacquered paper from both sides. The icon is decorated with different beautiful colors foil application (see details). Size of the icon is 5.25 x 4.5''. The icon is in very good vintage condition but it has minor imperfection on the back of the icon (see picture). The pictures are the part of description.
