Description: Vintage Royal Copenhagen Aluminia divided Fajance Plate with Birds or Peacocks. Designed by Berte Jessen in 60's. . Marked on the back and numbered 218/1802, along with the brown Aluminia mark in brown. Made by Royal Copenhagen. Made in Denmark. Features a white almost light gray background with brown and blue highlight on the rims and design. Each section has hand-painted birds in dark blue, brown with a tint of yellow. The plate looks really old but we did not see any chips, cracks or discoloration. The only thing we found was crazing. Large plate, measures approx. 10. 5” wide by about 3/4" high. Just a great plate whether for use or decor.
