Description: Here is a very nice tea cup and saucer in excellent vintage condition with no wear to gold, pattern is Tea Rose from Royal Albert, made from Bone China. Cup is 2 3/4 inches tall X 3 3/8 inches diameter and the saucer is 5 1/2 inches diameter X 3/4 inches deep. The pattern Tea Rose was first produced in 1940, I was not able to tell how long it was use, the back stamp on these were the same for the production run. I believe the cup shape is the Countess. Please review the pictures as they are part of the description and are the items that will be shipped. Buy Happy! In 1917 the Thomas C Wild & Co became Thomas C Wild & Sons. In 1964 the company was bought by the Lawley Group but continued making Bone China under the Royal Albert trade name. In 1974 the name was changed to Royal Albert Ltd.
