Description: Lovely Vintage ROYAL ALBERT 'TORQUAY' Bone China EnglandFooted Teacup With Hand Painted Floral Details And Gold Trim[no saucer]This beautiful and extremely elegant cup has images of hand painted roses and posies of flowers going around the outer cup, with a top rim detail of gorgeous swags/tassels hanging down and small flowers above them.In addition to the hand painting, there are beaded paint details at the flower's centers.Cup is lavishly trimmed in real gold around foot, down handle, at top rim, and even along the rim INSIDE the cup.Foot of cup is waved at edge for a fancy effect and the handle is also very elaborate and fancy.Top rim of cup is a softly rounded octagonal shape.A great cup, nice for a collector and would look stunning on display or in use.They just don't make lovely cups like this anymore.Marked Torquay Royal Albert Bone China England on bottom with a hand painted number 252.
