Ruana Bonner Montana - M - Hatchet W/ Original SheathMarking on the hatchet and sheath - look at the pictures Used Hatchet - I have not clean it up - this hatchet has a story to it - it was used in the Bob Marshall Wilderness elk hunting and fishing - The stamp is simple yet has a tale of its own. The little “M” next to the brand designates the era in which it was crafted.- The company builds its own leather sheaths and stamps them - it has not been used for 10 plus years - age I am not sure (I think in the 1940's) - that is real elk horn in the handle - yes it has some darken spots and surface rust from the water and use. - Clean it up or leave as is and add to your collection. Actual weight is 1 lb. 14.0 oz.
