A black rectangle covers the yellow happy face and then it is visible again every second that goes by. Not a fancy watch since it only keeps time, the date, and seconds. The lower button allows you to set the watch. The only marking is STAINLESS STEEL on the band. The watch insides is marked G9981-02. The case size is 37mm x 25 mm. The band is kind of small, I could fit the band over my hand but could not close it. I put a new battery in it and it has been working for over 3 weeks now.
