Description: This small metal trinket box is beautifully engraved on all sides, with red on the cover, off-setting three hearts. It is a very pretty, romantic keepsake holder from another era. It was originally given as a gift to a young girl in the 1960s. Unfortunately, the little fingers of her baby sister snapped the lid back and the hinge has been broken ever since. In all other ways it is very sturdy, made from a heavy type of metal. "Japan" is stamped on the bottom. Close examination shows some minor signs of wear to the legs. The red lining is in excellent condition; it is fully intact, no tears or stains, and not loose at any point.
