Description: These abalone shells were collected off the beaches of Santa Cruz and Capitola, California back in the late 1950's or 1960's when we used to vacation at a little cabin in Capitola. The red shell is in good shape. The largest shell is broken off near one edge and the other shell is worn out in spots from being sea washed and would be good for jewelry, crafts or small fish to swim through in an aquarium.
