Description: Original Leather Fringe Handbag. Not sure of the hide it was made from, but is REAL leather. Was purchased before or during Woodstock. Was given as a souvenir to a cousin that could not make the festival. I purchased it in her estate sale. Had the gift card that was inside the bag dated 1969. It is in original condition, no fringe missing. There is a small cut / rip in the leather ( see photos ), needs conditioning to soften & clean it. In really good shape, the leather is not rotten. I’m no expert but I think the luster can be restored because it is thick leather. There is no brand name. There was a lot of people that did different type of leather work during that time. I believe it to be a custom bag sold on the road or at the Woodstock festival.
