Description: Up for bid is an original vintage pre-owned Rare Freemason Masonic Lidded Beer Stein. Found at an estate sale of a collector of Beer Steins. Also the collector was deceased veteran who served in Germany and was a Mason who was involved with Freemasons for many years. It is in excellent condition and only used as a display in a China Cabinet with other German Steins. Measures about 5 ½” to the top of the lid and 4 ¼” diameter at the base. It has a pewter Masonic symbol on top of the lid surrounded by a ring of gold tone color of oak leaves and pinecones. There are no manufacturer marks or county identified on this stein. The handle bifurcated thumb piece and the double C handle are characteristics of European design. It weighs about a pound and two ounces. This stein is a true gem for any collector.
