Description: Vintage Print: Different Breeds of Sheep and Hogs in the United StatesThis print from an antique book on animals is beautifully drawn with three labeled breeds of sheep and four breeds of hogs. The edges are tanned and spotted; there is a single spot on the Berkshire hog closest to the left edge of the print. The animals are shown in a variety of natural poses which gives the print a much more interesting feel than the usual stiff standing animals in many prints. The lower edge is rough from where the print was removed from a book. Unfortunately, I do not know what book so I cannot identify the artist. The print is not framed or matted. The printed area measures 8"x 5.25" including the identifying information.
