Description: An original 1937 one of a kind vintage black and white photograph. Measures approximately 3.75" x 2.75". Showing Dr. Ernest Hartwell of the Brockport Normal School in Brockport, New York. (now SUNY Brockport) This photo was taken from the collection of 5 family photo albums of Mrs. Ethel Mae Southwick Anderson, (1919-2011), originally of Rochester, New York. She attended East High School in Rochester, class of 1936. She later attended the Brockport State Normal School in Brockport, New York, which is now part of SUNY. Later she married Carl Nathaniel Anderson, and had 3 children, living then in Fairport, New York. She was a teacher for many years in the Rochester area. (Note: any pencil inscriptions on the back of the photo are my notes based on what was written in the photo album next to the picture, as well as online research on the subject of the photo.) If you are interested in the entire photo album collection of Mrs. Anderson, please feel free to contact me directly.
