It’s lovingly crafted from scrap fabric in the traditional way from Peru. Some of the little folks and other items are stuffed and applied to make them rise from the background and give the entire piece a 3D effect. You can enlarge the photos and see how many are made this way, with others made of colorful material used on the background. Depicts a scene of a river running through the art with many people going about their day in Peru. CONDITION NOTE: There is one loose item, a bag of items, which you can see in the lower right, but I’m sure it can be sewed back on in its place fairly easily. Item was hung using very small nails and you may be able to see the tiny holes around the perimeter. Still in VERY nice condition and just a beautiful native Peruvian Arpillera piece.
