Very smooth on retrieve and free spool, line out alarm click is crisp and the drag is very smooth. This is a high quality saltwater or freshwater workhorse a very solid reel that will not let you down. Exceptional mechanical condition the gears and drag washers show very little wear and everything works as it should, excellent exterior condition with very minor scuffs from light use, the chrome parts are clean and bright, no saltwater use. This reel has been completely serviced and runs very smooth, gears and spool shafts were cleaned and greased, the worm gear was cleaned and oiled, the drag stack was cleaned and reinstalled, comes with the original box, handle wrench and Penn catalog, the box is in very good condition with minor edge wear.
