Description: This lot contains a vintage Paymaster Check Writer Series X-550 in extremely nice, clean condition. Writer has removable key and can be locked when not in use should you choose, and vinyl cover to help keep it nice and clean. I have printed with it and it works beautifully, however if I were using it on a regular basis I would put fresh ink in it as I would want it to be printing a bit darker than it is now. Crank handle will be removed for packing to reduce the possibility of machine being damaged (very easy to remove and put on as it only uses 1 standard screw and 1 washer, which are in place on the body of the machine) There are several videos on Youtube showing how to use and service this machine.
