Description: This is a most enchanting Vintage / Antique German Paper Mache Milliners Doll. This sweet 19th Century Toy / Doll has a Molded Paper Mache Head and shoulders, leather body and wooden arms and legs. She looks to be dressed in her original cotton day dress with under slip. Perfect to add to a collection or start one. Doll dates to the Mid to Late 1800.Doll is in excellent vintage / antique condition, ***with DEFINITE signs of age and wear, all adding to the super rich, naturally aged patina. Left foot has been replaced (new foot is carved wood). Her dress definitely shows wear, but nothing unexpected for a girl almost 200 years old.She does have some "crackle" and some touch up to the hair. Head is solid. Ribbon on dress do show wear.
