Description: Vintage original 1959 Marge and Gower Champion paper dolls by Whitman Publishing. One doll of each with clothing. clothing about 1/4-1/3 cut out, the rest single folded sheet. Slotted folder has torn in the middle at fold. Measures 10.5 X 12" Dian started collecting paper dolls in the early 1960's, so there are quite a few in the collection. From the estate and personal collection of Dian Zillner, author of numerous books on Dolls, Doll accessories, and Doll Houses. Many of the listed items have been used as illustrations in her books.
